This is a rock record, which definitely doesn’t sound like anything from 2016. It has all the festival jump around rock and roll shake it shake it vibe of all the past ten years and even some of the Beatles in its veins.
Memory keeper. Mostly music and movies, plus some series and video games. Obscure darkness meets pop culture glow.

Another good ol’ punk rock record, nothing more and nothing less.
Eclectic electronic: retro futurist synthwave, ambient, downtempo, electro, jumpig back and forth. That said it is not a very coherent album, but tracks are fine.
This one has been sitting in my “play later” list for quite some time. I like it a lot, listened to it several times, but couldn’t put it in a specific drawer in my mind. Now I read a review of the album where it was said to be similar to Garbage and that is a fair point. Although this is how Garbage could sound in 2016, so that’s good, too. I so rarely listen to music nowadays, which could be labelled as classic and simple alternative rock. This is one of those.
This is the best compilation album I have heard in quite a while. Didn’t know any of the artists and now have albums queued from all of them. This is a gold mine.
Oneohtrix Point Never did a video for the track Animals starring Val Kilmer. It is so minimal that you are not sure if this is it but still you cannot not watch. Anyhow, I like it.
Pitchfork writes that “Kilmer is falling asleep on the side of a bed”. What did these guys watch? He is clearly listening to the track. That is the best part of the whole thing.
It is one track actually: Thatcher Fucked the Kids.
Btw, I just realized that Thatcher reads “that Cher”. Yea, she fucked the kids, too.
Oh my gosh. How insane is pledging $780 on Kickstarter. But!
Listening to many post-hardcore stuff nowadays, once again. Brings back the times when I had more of that rage and tried to express more of it. Time to do that again. Externalize.
Good rock music and the strings, sometimes with a hint of theatrical edge to it. Like the young little brother of Dog Fashion Disco. Old music, new find.
