Ludovico Einaudi – Taranta Project
World music kind of thing. Italian traditional music from Salento mixed with North African and Turkish flavours, tuned to the voices of jazz, rock, folk, and in some cases soundtrack-like grandiose orchestrations. For me it resembles Dead Can Dance on quite a wide range from the medieval sounds to the Spiritchaser’s ethnic fusion. It is a very unique and interesting record.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – Chasing Yesterday
Being someone who never really listened to Oasis (or liked it in the first place) I am most surprised to have just listened through Gallagher’s latest album from beginning to end and actually found it quite okay. For me it needs a certain mood setting but worked this time.
Hangulati alapon hallgatok ilyen zenét, és túl sok nincs a készletemben, úgyhogy csak ahhoz tudom hasoníltani saját értelmezésemben a Trail of Dead új lemezét, hogy olyan mint egy igazán jóféle Incubus. Azért ez nagy szó. Az Incubus-t nagyon szeretem.
Amúgy egyszer láttam az Incubus-t élőben. Az eléggé jó volt.
Mindig meglepődök, amikor jó gót zenét az USA-ból kapok, és akkor most Ritual Howls, és megint megdöbbentő, hogy valaki tud még 2014-ben is ilyen metsző hideget érezni. (Pedig.) Gyönyörű arannyal kiöntött fekete, és őszinte. Nagyon minden.
