I spent the Saturday packing up my apartment and organizing things. Perfect soundtrack for that.
Memory keeper. Mostly music and movies, plus some series and video games. Obscure darkness meets pop culture glow.

Nu skool breaks and progressive house Sasha style. Go for the continuous mixed version.
Reminiscing on the golden age of drum & bass with this record on the 25th anniversary of the DJ-Kicks series.
African world music meets afro-futurism. The essence of this tradicional instruments meet booty shake electronics shows well in the track Sohaa Gb3k3 – that’s a favorite, hilarious but in a good way.
Downtempo electronic music with a lot of soul. Also, beautiful cover. I haven’t been following !K7 for quite a while and it’s nice to see their logo again.
Listen to this the day after a good techno party. Gives some great flashbacks, gets body moving.
Hugely satisfying and absolutely relaxed mix of tracks through the hiphop-soul-groovy-nujazz axis. This is why I listen to good selections like the DJ Kicks or Late Night Tales releases in the first place. I mean not the specific genre but the top-notch selection.
A totally usual and casual nu-jazz album, like it’s 2004, the high times of Dzihan & Kamien, Jazzanova, Herbert et al. And !K7 still lives this era by releasing such a record in 2015.
