The Dog Fashion Disco alumni strikes again. I’ve been listening to this EP for a week straight. Alt-metal, heavy metal, catchy tunes and ripping shrieks, true Razor To Wrist sound.
Memory keeper. Mostly music and movies, plus some series and video games. Obscure darkness meets pop culture glow.

I saw these guys yesterday live and I previously hadn’t listened to a full album, just went on an invitation. It was a very powerful, high-energy gig, mostly dominated by Jeremy Bolm’s stage presence, and lots of stage diving (by people from the crowd, not Jeremy) and occasionally wall-to-wall mosh pit. Touché Amoré is one of those hardcore bands that are just dripping authenticity that I can’t resist.
Now, the day after I’m listening to their latest record and it’s pretty good. I assume as I go towards the previous ones they will get rawer. I’ll check that out.

When at 1:30am you cannot not play this loud and shout along. Melodic hardcore and industrial metal riffs at best.
And the track Silhouette? This is… what is this? ‘90s pop tune with this melodic metal atmosphere. This is a powerful pop metal thing, that’s what it is.
Pondering in the Pit: 17 Essential Post-Hardcore LPs
You can create a great playlist from this selection. Although I feel there is more grunge feeling and sounds in there than hardcore per se, but still good assembly of bands and album suggestions.

Post-hardcore and prog rock. Music to shout with.

Best album title.
